Sweet 'n Sour Cocktail Mix
4 cups water (1 quart)
3 cups sugar
2 cinnamon sticks
1-1/2 cups fresh lime juice
Combine water, sugar and cinnamon sticks in a large saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Reduce to a simmer and add lime juice. Simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from the heat and let the mix cool.
When cool, remove the cinnamon sticks and store the mix in a covered container for up to 1 week in the refrigerator.
